Augustine Bennett is a character from The National Service Journal, the best friend of Bertrand Pryce and the guardian of Charlie Company's underground cloister.

In his encounter with Aimée Duchemin and her friends, he tells them of the tragic events that befell his friend.

As a priest he is generally addressed as "Father", though Pryce still calls him "Benny", a nickname derived from his surname sometime long ago.

Name OriginEdit

Augustine's surname is taken from Elizabeth Bennett, a protagonist in Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice. His given name is taken directly from that of Saint Augustine. This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 License.
